WINE #1
2023 Eighteen Twenty Wines Fete
Rhubarb
Maine
Eighteen Twenty Wines, located in Portland, Maine, specializes in crafting sophisticated wines made from locally grown rhubarb. Sourced from nearby farmers, the rhubarb is hand-fermented, bottled, and shipped at their production facility. Their wines are often compared to traditional French Rosé, Pinot Grigio, or Sauvignon Blanc, offering a unique and refreshing alternative. Founded in 2015 by Amanda O'Brien, who was inspired by a friend’s home-brewed rhubarb wine, Eighteen Twenty Wines reflects her deep connection to Maine and her background in marketing. Amanda’s goal is to produce high-quality wines from local produce, driven by her passion for both wine and her home state.
Bright and refreshingly crisp, this wine offers a light, dry profile with vibrant acidity that captures attention with its unexpected elegance. Crafted from rhubarb, it surprises even seasoned palates with its refined character. Perfectly versatile, it complements fresh seafood, artisan cheese plates, and Mediterranean dishes, while standing up beautifully to spicy flavors. Fête is an inspired choice for any occasion that calls for something unique and delightful.
WINE #2
2023 Tablas Creek Patelin
Grenache, Mourvèdre, Counoise
Paso Robles, California
A dream realized by two winemaking dynasties: the Perrins of Château de Beaucastel and the Haas family of Vineyard Brands. Founded in 1987 as a 50/50 partnership, Tablas Creek continues to thrive under the next generation of leadership from both families. Tablas Creek embraces the time-honored blending traditions of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Their focus? Wines that sing with both richness and elegance, while showcasing captivating complexity, freshness, and a touch of minerality.
This Provençal-style rosé from Tablas Creek Vineyard blends Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Counoise, from Paso Robles' top Rhône vineyards for a wine bursting with bright strawberry, juicy red fruit, spice, and a touch of citrus. WINE #3
2022 Anthony Nappa White Pinot
Pinot Noir
North Fork of Long Island, New York
Producing organic wines in this wet region’s climate is a feat; Anthony works closely with grower Rex Farr to keep his wines certified organic and sustainable. According to Anthony, “Rex Farr, my grower, has endured many difficulties over the last eight years growing grapes organically and biodynamically, [which was] once thought impossible on the East End. Rex Farr Vineyard is the only Certified Organic Vineyard on Long Island. I have always made wine in the most natural way possible and I enjoy making the wines I currently make, but I also enjoy new challenges and the opportunity to do something nobody has done before. It’s part of my lifestyle to try to be a good steward of the land.”
Full-bodied and unoaked, this wine bursts with aromas and flavors of white cherry and strawberry. A long, dry finish with a refreshing touch of acidity.
