Textured & Creamy Whites

WINE #1

2022 Harper Voit Surlie
Pinot Blanc
Willamette Valley, Oregon

After 15 years at top wineries like Domaine Serene and Shea, Drew crafts small-lot Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Riesling under his own label. He also consults for Willamette Valley wineries and offers custom winemaking services. A believer in Old World techniques, he collaborates with Stephen Hagen of Antiquum Farms, where draft horses and sheep manage the vineyard. Drew's lineup includes single-vineyard gems and a Willamette Valley blend.

This Pinot Blanc uoffers notes of white apricots, peaches, and juicy yellow plums, layered with hints of savory herbs. Its stony acidity cuts through beautifully, keeping the fruit fresh and balanced. The palate is complex and rich.

WINE #2

2022 Galen Glen Vinology
Grüner Veltliner
Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania

Nestled on a scenic ridge north of the Lehigh Valley, Galen Glen Winery defies expectations. Founded in 1995 by a passionate couple (engineer & chemist), it boasts unique terroir and a family legacy of innovation. The 7th generation, Erin, leads the viticulture team with a focus on sustainability. Their wines have garnered national acclaim, particularly for their pioneering Grüner Veltliner plantings.

This wine shows vibrant aromas of white grapefruit, crisp celery, and exotic passion fruit, with a hint of white pepper for added complexity. The finish is bright, crisp, and lingers refreshingly. It’s the perfect partner for a variety of dishes. Think bold vegetables like arugula, broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage – their bitterness is beautifully balanced by the wine's acidity. It also shines alongside spicy Asian cuisine and complements seafood dishes with ease.

WINE #3

2022 Lieb Cellars
Chardonnay
North Fork of Long Island, New York

Lieb Cellars crafts a portfolio of estate-grown, sustainable wines, renowned for their signature dry, clean, and fruit-forward style. Notably, Lieb owns the largest contiguous plot of Pinot Blanc in the US. Under the guidance of veteran winemaker Russell Hearn, these 35-year-old vines yield nationally recognized and award-winning wines. Their offerings extend beyond Pinot Blanc, including a sparkling rosé, a lightly oaked Chardonnay, and red blends featuring Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.

This is a lightly oaked chardonnay with balanced acidity and flavors of pear, apple, and a hint of toasty vanilla. Pair with creamy pastas, grilled seafood, herbed chicken, mushrooms, and pork.
