WINE #1

2022 Groundwork
Counoise
Arroyo Grande Valley, California

Groundwork wines are all about the pure expression of Central Coast terroir and grape varietals. Crafted with minimal intervention from vineyard to bottle, these wines showcase a deep connection to place. Sustainable practices guide the vineyards, with organic solutions taking precedence when necessary. Native yeasts guide fermentation, and minimal sulfur is added afterwards. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, these low-alcohol wines deliver a refreshingly pure taste of the Central Coast.

This Groundwork Counoise isn't your average red. Think juicy cranberry, spicy white pepper, and a touch of floral violets. It's got a burst of freshness like hibiscus tea (agua de jamaica), with a hint of earthy depth. Low in alcohol, this easy-drinking wine is perfect for any occasion.

WINE #2

2022 Echolands Rivière-Galets
Grenache
Walla Walla Valley, Washington

Wine visionaries Brad Bergman and Doug Frost, both from Kansas City, saw the magic of Walla Walla Valley grapes in 2018. They founded Echolands Winery, believing in the region's ability to craft exceptional, age-worthy wines. In 2023, renowned winemaker Brian Rudin joined the team. Together, they're dedicated to sustainable practices and wines that showcase the valley's unique potential for elegance and balance.

This Grenache is bursting with juicy cherry fruit punch, grounded by earthy notes like strawberry-rhubarb crumble and a hint of raspberry leaf. The finish features a touch of spicy clove with lingering bright cranberries.

WINE #3

2019 William Chris Vineyards
Mourvedre
Texas High Plains, Texas

At William Chris Vineyards, they strive to make the best possible Texas wines year after year. They're proud of their team, their community, and the beautiful Hill Country they call home.

Fans of old-world styles and Mourvèdre enthusiasts alike will want to take note of this wine! On the nose and palate, a basket of blackberries mingles with ripe red and purple plums. Hints of smoke, cedar, tobacco, and even black tea add complexity. Full-bodied and expressive, this Mourvèdre is a bold statement. Pair this with hard cheeses, braises and stews, or grilled meats.
