WINE #1

2019 Sparkling Pointe Brut
Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier
North Fork of Long Island, New York

Sparkling Pointe winemaker and Champagne region native Gilles Martin is a firm believer that Long Island offers a uniquely suited terroir. “Compared to California,” Gilles says with a wink, “Long Island is ‘cool’, and this is precisely why Champagne grapes flourish so well here!”. As he jokingly puts it, Gilles’ dream and ambition is “to make New York and Long Island sparkle” - a feat that Sparking Pointe is already well on its way to accomplishing.

With a pale golden hue, this lively wine expresses fresh and complex aromas of lemon zest, Honeycrisp apple, and Asian pear. Pair with oysters, light appetizers, seafood, fried appetizers, and fresh cheeses.

WINE #2

NV Eyrie Vineyards Spark Rosé
Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Chasselas
Willamette, Oregon

Eyrie's "gentle touch" philosophy extends from the vineyard to the winery. Their focus lies in harvesting grapes at the precise moment when the varietal character shines brightest, before overripeness sets in. In the winery, minimal intervention ensures these delicate flavors remain uncompromised.

After fermenting and aging in a combination of wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, the wine underwent full malolactic fermentation and spent an average of 11 months on its lees. This process lends the wine a subtle richness and eliminates any residual sugar. Finally, Jason added sparkle to the wine by carbonating it to 4.2 atmospheres before bottling it under a crown cap. Spark explodes onto the palate with a burst of pear and citrus, underpinned by a lively structure of crisp acidity. Creamy fruit notes emerge, hinting at blood orange and wild strawberries. The initial rush of vibrant bubbles softens into a gentle effervescence, leaving a harmonious finish that's both refreshing and rich. The Spark's balanced acidity and fruit notes make it a versatile pairing for light dishes, seafood, and all sorts of cheeses.

WINE #3

NV Anthony Nappa Frizzante
Pinot Noir, Viognier, Moscato Giallo
North Fork of Long Island, New York

Producing organic wines in Long Island's often-wet climate presents a unique challenge. Anthony collaborates closely with Rex Farr, the visionary grower behind the region's only certified organic vineyard. Anthony shares Rex's commitment to sustainability, stating, "Rex's dedication to organic and biodynamic practices has been groundbreaking. It's part of my own philosophy to be a steward of the land, and I enjoy crafting wines that reflect this respect for nature."

Lightly sparkling and intensely aromatic with floral notes and cotton-candy flavors, this wine finishes with a crisp dry acidity. Pair with lighter chicken or pork dishes, dried fruits, creamy cheeses, and fried appetizers.
